OUR FAVOURITE TUSCAN MARKET DAY WITH HARRY|
Nicki Positano · 28:37 · 2 weeks ago
A Tuscan couple revisits their local annual flower market to replace failed plants and expand their garden after checking last year's growth.
-
Last year's purchases — Roses, Billy Buttons and other flowers mostly survived but some lavender and bee-garden plants were abandoned or died .
-
Garden challenges — Limited shade prevents hydrangeas and other shade-loving plants from Positano; only olive trees provide cover .
-
Market return — They buy three rose bushes, raspberry, blackberry, gooseberry and a large lemon tree plus a stevia plant as a gift .
-
Planting results — Blackberry, raspberry and gooseberry bushes go in the vegetable garden; one rose replaces lavender while peas are harvested .
-
Retreat details — Four retreats planned for the year with a maximum of eight guests for intimacy; one recent group had only four attendees .
